Running through November 13, the pop-up menu is a mashup of bratwurst-and-beer classics and Fly By Jing’s signature sauces, the same ones that have spiced up everything from home kitchens to Michelin-starred menus. Expect cheddar potato dumplings with caramelized onions, loaded chili fries topped with spicy mayo and bacon and a beer-braised pork sandwich layered with Fly By Jing barbecue sauce on a pretzel bun. Even the drinks are getting a glow-up: The Calamansi Spicy Margarita mixes mezcal, calamansi, agave and a slick of Fly By Jing’s Sweet & Spicy Oil—because why shouldn’t your cocktail tingle?

Founded by chef Jing Gao, Fly By Jing has built a fanatical following since its debut in 2018, bringing the “soul of Sichuan” to shelves everywhere from Whole Foods to Costco. What began as a single jar of chili crisp has grown into a flavor empire of noodles, sauces and snacks.
The Standard Biergarten, tucked beneath the High Line, has been a downtown staple since 2009, known for its beer steins, pretzels, ping-pong tables and steady stream of beautiful chaos. This month’s collaboration keeps that spirit intact but adds a tongue-numbing twist that feels right at home in New York’s most mischievous hotel.
