If you're headed to midtown to see the Rockefeller Center Christmas tree lighting tonight, you can warm up with some free cups of hot chocolate just a few blocks away.

The modern American restaurant Ocean Prime (52nd St between Sixth and Seventh Aves) is bringing back its complimentary Hot Cocoa Station for the evening that's stocked with holiday toppings like mini marshmallows, peppermint sticks and cinnamon sticks.

The free drinks will be available at the restaurant starting at 2:30pm and lasting until 5:30pm on Thursday. It's the perfect primer for the ceremony, which kicks off at 7pm, with the actual tree lighting at 9:33pm.

Throughout the three-hour affair, there will be performances by Diana Ross, Tonny Bennett & Diana Krall, Brett Eldredge, Darci Lynne Farmer, John Legend, Martina McBride, Pentatonix and Kellie Pickler. And with temperatures dropping to a real feel of 25 degrees tonight, you've gotta get the cocoa while it's hot...and you're freezing cold.
