If there was ever a New York neighborhood destined to embrace Gwyneth Paltrow's wellness-minded takeout empire, it's the Upper East Side.
Goop Kitchen is opening its third New York City outpost on Monday, August 3, at 346 East 92nd Street—but this one comes with a twist. Unlike the brand's Midtown West and Williamsburg locations, which operate out of ghost kitchens focused on delivery and pickup, the new address is Goop Kitchen's first-ever branded storefront, designed specifically for customers who want to walk in, place an order and leave with lunch in hand.
The concept is part of a growing evolution for the California-born brand, which first landed in New York earlier this year with its delivery-first model. The Upper East Side location is designed around in-person ordering and pickup, giving customers a dedicated retail space while keeping the fast-casual, takeout-focused approach intact.
The menu, however, remains the same: expect the lineup of salads, grain bowls, rotisserie chicken, gluten-free pizzas and wraps that have become Goop Kitchen's calling card, all prepared without gluten, refined sugar, seed oils or preservatives. Signature favorites include the Chinese Chicken Salad, Miso Salmon Bowl, Everyday Kale & Brussels Salad and the G-Potle Taco Crunch Bowl, along with the grain-free Falafel & Hummus Wrap and the brand's addictive Coco Chocolate Chip Cookies.
When Time Out first reviewed Goop Kitchen's Manhattan debut this spring, we found that the food largely lived up to the hype. The falafel wrap stood out as especially flavorful, while the salads avoided the sad-desk-lunch trap thanks to thoughtful toppings and dressings packed separately to keep everything crisp until the last bite.
The new storefront also makes Goop Kitchen feel a little more like a neighborhood fixture than an app-based delivery brand. Instead of tapping your phone and waiting for a courier, you can actually wander in, browse the menu and grab lunch on the spot—arguably a better fit for the Upper East Side's steady stream of office workers, parents, and gym-goers.
For anyone who's been Goop-curious, the new storefront makes trying Paltrow's wellness-minded menu easier than ever.
