One of the best flea markets in NYC is back.

This weekend, May 12 and 13, the free LIC Flea & Food market will open in Long Island City at 5-25 46th Avenue from 11am to 6pm. It’s your chance to visit the market while it’s actually in its namesake LIC: It will move over to Astoria beginning the weekend of May 19.

It’s the sixth season of the popular market, where you can shop for antiques, furniture, clothing, jewelry, art and just about anything else your heart desires. Food offerings this year include Memphis Seoul BBQ and San Antonio's wood-fired pizza—and don’t miss the beer garden with Queens-based brews.

If you needed a reason to go visit Queens, a stop in Long Island City for this flea market is the way to go. It’s easily accessibly from the 7, E/M, G and R trains, and the NYC Ferry stops there between East 34th Street and Roosevelt Island, as well.

The creators of the market are also responsible for the World’s Fair festival held in April, and there are frequent events at LIC Flea—like beer festivals, wine tastings and fireworks—so stay tuned for that lineup in the near future.
