And just like that, it’s nearly time to reunite with our old pals Carrie Bradshaw, Miranda Hobbes and Charlotte York Goldenblatt—yes, a third (and likely unhinged) season of Max’s Sex and the City spinoff series And Just Like That will hit the HBO streaming service on Thursday, May 29 and you can celebrate the show’s return in especially sweet fashion thanks to Magnolia Bakery.

The New York-based bakery gained national attention back in 2001 when Carrie (Sarah Jessica Parker) and Miranda (Cynthia Nixon) were seen visiting the company’s Bleecker Street location for vanilla buttercream cupcakes and a gossip session during a season 3 episode of SATC. So it’s only fitting that Magnolia would be marking the continuation of the beloved TV franchise by offering free treats to excited fans during premiere day.
On May 29, you can stop by any Magnolia Bakery location in New York City (excluding the LaGuardia and Grand Central stalls) and say you're there for “Summer in the City” to score a free cup of the bakery’s iconic Banana Pudding—New York's ultimate dessert. If you haven’t experienced Magnolia’s creamy, dreamy take on the classic Southern dessert just yet, it features a smooth, rich vanilla pudding base layered with crisp vanilla wafers and fresh bananas.
Do note, though, that only 100 cups per city will be available on a first come, first served basis on the 29th, so make sure to get in line early if you want that pudding pick-me-up. Along with Carrie’s hometown of Manhattan, the Max-meets-Magnolia promotion will extend to other treat-loving cities, including Los Angeles and Chicago.
Sex and the City and Magnolia Bakery—the only way this could get more New York is if Samantha Jones returned to the SATC universe full time!
