If your commute regularly takes you through Moynihan Train Hall or Hudson Yards, lunch is about to get a whole lot more interesting.
The Market Hall, a new 34,000-square-foot food destination coming to Manhattan West this fall, has revealed the first wave of vendors that will fill its two-story space just west of Penn Station. The new hall will feature 12 casual food concepts, an independent full-service restaurant, an indoor bar, a rooftop terrace bar, plus retail and service tenants when it opens at 398 10th Avenue.

Leading the inaugural lineup is Shifka, the all-day pita shop from the team behind NoHo favorite Sami & Susu, which is opening only its second location. BKLYN Larder, the beloved Boerum Hill specialty food shop, will finally make the jump across the East River with its first Manhattan outpost, bringing its sandwiches, pastries, cheeses and gourmet pantry staples with it.
Health-minded diners won't be left out either. Springbone is bringing its bone broths and grain bowls and California import Alfalfa will serve salads, wraps, smoothies and coffee. Nearby NoHo concept Matter, which bills itself as the world's first precision nutrition restaurant, is also joining the roster, offering customizable, nutrient-focused meals.
If you want something a little heartier, Super Burrito is bringing San Francisco-style Mission burritos to the West Side—and pulling double duty by overseeing The Market Hall's bar program. Rounding out the first announcement is Sushi Counter, which specializes in Australian-style hand rolls made to order.
Brookfield Properties says more tenants will be announced before opening day, but the early lineup hints at a hall that's leaning more toward neighborhood favorites than splashy national chains. The company hopes to replicate the success of Hudson Eats at Brookfield Place, which has become one of Lower Manhattan's busiest food halls since its 2014 opening.
No exact opening date has been announced beyond "fall 2026," but Brookfield says the debut will include tastings, grand opening events and other promotions. Until then, commuters may want to start plotting their future lunch rotations now.
