For those who take pleasure in bundling up in multiple layers and worship wearing a loose, goose-down parka, you’re in luck.

It’s beginning to (finally) feel a lot like winter in New York City with frigid temperatures in the high twenties. But we could do without the blustering wind, thank you.

If you have yet to purchase a good winter coat and pair of snow boots, you may want to check that item off your to-do list sooner rather than later. New York could soon see its first flakes of 2019, as meteorologists are predicting an inch or “coating” of snow late Saturday night into Sunday.

Certainly, it won’t be as bad as the surprising six-inch snow storm we experienced last November. Nevertheless, this isn’t the time to let your guard down.

Sure, a thin layer of snow sounds like a real treat. But it is going to be c-o-l-d and presumably slippery out there. But don’t let that steer you away from making the most of your weekend in the best damn city on earth. Our list of things to do indoors should keep you warm and entertained. Stay bundled, New York!
