Someone made a mistake somewhere, because we keep reading that 1995 was 30 years ago when everyone knows it was more like 10, right? Whatever discrepancy there is, we'll let it slide since we're getting so many awesome reunions and anniversary events out of it. Here's one more: '90s icon Sarah Michelle Gellar just teamed up with eBay to curate a one-day-only pop-up, The ’95 Shop. IRL for just today, September 4, it's a time capsule that makes flipping through vintage goods feel like a cultural pilgrimage.

Among the items available: Air Jordan XI Concords, the kind of hallowed kicks sneakerheads wait years to spot; a 1990 Spider-Man No. 1 gold torment, signed by Stan Lee and Todd McFarlane; and a 1999 Ken Griffey Jr. card. Not to mention many, many more available online at a special eBay collection page, including vintage Lagerfeld-era Chanel, a Versace motorcycle jacket and an Omega Seamaster, James Bond’s watch of choice. There's even a 1997 Land Rover Defender revving up nostalgia (and bids).
Curated by Gellar, this is more than merch; it's a shrine to the era that shaped us. "It’s been so fun to see the best of ‘90s culture take center stage again, particularly as it was such a defining period for me personally," the Buffy the Vampire Slayer icon said in a statement. "eBay has always been the place to find iconic pieces — from memorable looks to rare collectibles and more. Curating the ’95 Shop gave me the chance to spotlight items that defined the decade, including a few signed Buffy treasures."
Here’s how you get in on the action: Swing by 45 Grand Street on September 4, from 11am to 7pm ET. But if you can’t make it to the brick-and-mortar, head online to ebay.com/95shop. The online auction runs through September 9 at 9am ET.
Even better, it’s all for charity, with every bid benefiting Make-A-Wish. Pop in, place a bid, bask in the glow of memory, and maybe snag that holy-grail piece. After all, '90s culture didn’t die; it just evolved into millennial collector items.
