1. Salt Bae opens his first restaurant in New York today. The new steakhouse can be found in midtown. 

2. Sundance Film Festival starts today. You need to see its new movies, including Burden, Eighth Grade and Don’t Worry, He Won’t Get Far on Foot. 

3. Today is the Valrhona Hot Chocolate Festival Kickoff Party. Head to Laduree Soho to sample some of the best desserts in New York.
