New York loves a star sighting, but nothing hits like watching someone from your TV sprint (okay, sometimes, shuffle) past mile 18 in a sweat-soaked finisher’s tee. The 2025 TCS New York City Marathon brought out thousands of everyday legends, plus a pack of bold-face names who traded red carpets and ring lights for five boroughs, 26.2 miles and a truly humbling tour of Fifth Avenue’s uphill terrain.

And look, we get it: some people ran for charity, some ran for bragging rights and some ran because “sign up now before you lose the courage” is a powerful spell in June. Either way, they showed up. They ran. They took a billion sweaty selfies. And a few even flew.

Below, the fastest celebrity finishers at this year’s race. Bow down to the famous folks who laced up, logged the miles and earned those metallic blankets like the rest of us mortals.

Zac Clark — 3:27:33
The former Bachelorette contestant and longtime marathoner ran yet another impressive time to support Release Recovery.

Matt James — 3:31:10
Bachelor Nation, thriving on the New York pavement. James clocked just over 3.5 hours with Team Mastercard, once again proving reality-TV stars can grind.

Ben Gibbard — 3:36:07
The Death Cab For Cutie frontman ran to support Protect Our Winters, continuing his “tour but make it athletic” era.

Claire Holt — 3:39:03
The TV vampire queen keeps getting faster. Holt shaved more time off last year’s PR with a cool sub-3:40.

Jordan Litz — 3:40:53
Wicked’s Fiyero traded emerald swag for a medal, finishing strong while raising funds for Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS.

Joe Amabile — 3:49:53
“Grocery Store Joe” stocked up on speed. Another solid marathon finish from the Bachelor alum running for Release Recovery.

Dave Depper — 3:54:21
Gibbard’s Postal Service/Death Cab bandmate also crushed it, breezing in under four hours.

Phil Keoghan — 4:16:14
The Amazing Race host quite literally ran his own amazing race for Back on My Feet, crossing in a very respectable 4:16.

Carl Radke — 4:04:25
The Summer House star leaned into marathon mode, finishing his debut at 4:04 in support of Release Recovery Foundation.

Anthony Ramos — 4:44:31
The Hamilton star made his marathon debut, cheered on by Des Linden herself, and crossed in under five hours. Not throwing away his shot, etc., etc.

If you saw any of these folks cruising by in Central Park, congrats, you basically attended the most wholesome red carpet in town. Next year, it’s your turn… unless you prefer cheering and brunching, which is also a respectable athletic pursuit.
