BUST Magazine celebrates 25 years of honoring women in culture, politics and activism with a blowout show at House of Yes. Hosting duties go to endlessly charming former New Yorker Jenny Slate, with comedy from Time Out darlings Patti Harrison, Michelle Buteau and Phoebe Robinson. Actress/poet Amber Tamblyn and musician Miss Eaves join in on the party, and DJs Sharkmuffin, the Resistance Revival Chorus and DJ Dirtyfinger spin between sets to keep you going all night.
The pièce de résistance of the night is the arrival of DJ Lo Down Loretta Brown, A.K.A. a musical icon you may have heard of called Erykah Badu. Apparently, she wants to spin, not sing, and we're not going to get in her way. Is it us, or is an Erykah Badu-Michelle Buteau team-up the most magical fantasy of all?
