Another way you can succumb to your inner hedonist is by attending a decadent dinner party at one of the most stunning historic castles in New York. Yes, a real-life castle. Take a quick Metro-North ride to Tarrytown for Castle Hotel & Spa’s gala on Saturday, April 20. Party people who love a good theme should dress to the nines for the event's Casino Royale theme. Picture a scene straight out of James Bond with martinis, casino tables and fancy cars, minus the license to kill.
Tickets to the affair include cocktails and passed hors d’oeuvres, a five-course tasting and wine pairing dinner (menu included below) as well as live music entertainment. Tickets will run you $225 (okay, we warned you, it was a splurge), but it’s seriously worth considering treating yourself to a bougie evening inside a gorgeous castle rather than just paying the same (if not more) for a fancy meal in the city followed by a night of drinking.
