The biggest and busiest of Paris’s airports, Charles de Gaulle is 25km north-east of the city centre, and serves a quite jaw-dropping 70 million passengers each year. That’s quite a few travellers. And if you’re one of them and you need a hotel close by? We’ve picked out a selection for you to consider, from those practically on the runway (well, almost) to fancy ones a little further afield. We can’t promise you won’t be kept awake by a Boeing 747 roaring its way to somewhere sunny, but just think of the convenience... proximity is worth the risk of a restless night, right?

Time Out tip: If you sign up for a loyalty card on the Aéroville website (totally free and takes a couple of minutes) you get access to all kinds of discounts available to use in the major mall (which also has a food court and cinema).

Time Out tip: Charles de Gaulle is only a 20-minute drive from Parc Asterix, so if you’re planning on going there, ask Oceania in advance about deals. They often have discounts or hotel and park packages.
A quaint B&B in a converted eighteenth-century stable block brimming with charm.
Time Out tip: The Herbes Folles has such a stunning garden, it’d be a shame not to enjoy it to its full potential: we’re talking about barbecues, naturally. If you ask the staff, they’ll set you up with all the equipment you’ll need to get your grill on. They also put on their own BBQs every Tuesday in May and June.
