Over 100 restaurants band together to turn out good value lunch ($25-$40) and dinner ($35-$55) menus at the October return of Singapore Restaurant Week. The theme, this time, is 'Sinfully Delectable' and participating restaurants like Long Chim, Bacchanalia and Shisen Hanten by Chen Kentaro will try to whip up unique plates that address it. Otherwise, Restaurant Week continues to be a pocket-friendly way to get acquainted with that top table you've always wanted to get a seat at.
This 11th edition also packs a charity angle amidst the indulgence: restaurants are encouraged to donate up to $2 per check to The Food Bank Singapore, which is raising funds for their new mobile food pantry truck that will deploy food to their beneficiaries.
Bookings open Sep 26 for Time Out Singapore readers (use the code: TOSGRW, to enjoy priority booking), and Sep 28 for the public at www.restaurantweek.sg.
