School's almost out for the little rugrats, which means you should waste no time in planning activities for the kids. There are plenty of holiday camps you should consider for your young ones to get involved during the March holidays. Whether it's space camp, science camp, arts and crafts classes or even coding, there are plenty of activities to get them busy during the school holidays. Not only are they fun, but they are also educational too. If you are unsure what kind of holiday camp your child will be interested in, check out some of the camps in areas like coding, science, sports, arts, and much more in the list below.

Do you have a little Einstein in the house? Newtonshow is offering science programmesEaster science 5.0 and Easter in Harry Potter School for your kids aged three to 12 years. Travel inside a volcano, make chemical bath bombs, take part in experiments and learn about storms and tornados at this science camp. For Harry Potter fans, kids get to learn about astronomy and participate in magic ice experiments. Whichever program you pick, your kids are sure to have loads of fun while learning at the same time!

The SuperXplore! Holiday camp organised by SuperPark encourages your little ones to experience a range of activities in various environments. With a total of nine activities, kids get to create colourful and handy accessories from Paracord Making to gaining points when they hunt for SuperPark mascots in SuperHunt. In the Lego Robotics activity, kids get to build Sumo warriors with Roblox. They will also get to design and build their own Rube Goldberg machines – these machines are designed to perform tasks in a fun way. Kids get to learn about critical thinking, trial-and-error, problem-solving all through the activities and curriculums in this camp.

Let your child’s creative juices flow at these two awesome camps hosted by The Drawing Mint. The Design and Architecture Camp gives kids a chance to explore hands-on design topics like perspective sketching and skyscraper city design. In furniture design, they also get to build a real shelf! Kids get to learn techniques such as sketching, designer markers and how to bring their ideas to life. Kids learn to bake from scratch and make treats like carrot cupcakes, strawberry mini eggs cake and Easter egg cookies that they can take home. Learn a whole range of baking skills, kitchen safety and even dessert decorating. They get to follow a recipe and express their creativity through the delicious desserts they make. It’s truly a fun-filled adventure at Spring Baking Wonderland.

Keep your kids' busy squishing and moulding clay at the workshops by Clay Cove. They might even make a new bowl or mug to use at home. Foundation level pottery classes introduce kids to the pinching method, while intermediate classes teach coiling, slab-building and hollowing methods to create pottery pieces. Advance classes test your child's competency in the methods, and they'll be able to make four projects in this course. You'll also be able to work on ceramic pieces with your child in the parent and child bonding workshops where both of you will create, decorate and glaze a cup and saucer.

What better way to support your child’s education than with a holiday camp chock-full of good creative fun? Worklab offers a variety of camps but of the many, two of the most popular ones are MyCamp and Robocamp. The technology-themed MyCamp gives kids aged six to 12 the opportunity to create their own camp experience. It begins by selecting three to six out of 11 projects: young ones can build and programme a 3D model of a real life smart house, design their own video game or stage a runway show for their fashion label. Alternatively, Robocamp junior (for six to eight years old) and senior (for nine to 12 years old) focuses on robotics with hands-on activities such as learning scientific concepts through building a LEGO robot. Sounds too easy? Kids'll also have to use robot mechanics to form solutions to challenges in the Robobattle. Children's Worklab also offers weekly weekend classes in engineering, robotics and animation. For the engineering and robotics courses, kids will learn and apply key concepts through the use of LEGO sets to construct a variety of mechanisms.

Space Academy Singapore

Here’s one for the junior space cadets who aspire to launch a rocket, walk on the moon or discover extra-terrestrial life. Space Academy Singapore’s space camp for youths aged 14 to 18 is conducted by legit instructors from NASA who’ll impart their knowledge to budding scientists, astronauts and engineers. It’s not all talk and no play, either: hands-on activities include building of water rockets, mini satellites, navigating rovers and unmanned aerial vehicles, and completing an Arctic mission in Snow City.

Children holiday camp options are aplenty at Camp Asia, whose range of activities caters to three-year-olds through to 16-year-old teens. There’s Super Soccer and Super Gymnastics for the active ones, Drama Academy for budding performers, and Mad World of Science and Math Mania for the brainiacs. Camp Asia’s all-time favourite programme is the Multi-Activity Camp, where kids aged three to eight can expend their energy on five activities – from swimming and ball sports to drama and cooking – in a single day.

Local theatre company ACT 3’s Drama Academy has rolled out a series of activities for children aged between seven months to teenagers, where they can pick up skills such as how to collaborate creatively with peers, boost their confidence and improve their vocal and dance techniques.

For children from two-and-a-half to 12 years old, Genius R Us has a spectrum of workshops lined up that aim to make baking fun and build on their team work skills, and also teach participants about kitchen equipment and how to handle raw ingredients. Some of the tasty creations they may walk away with include cookies, pizzas, watermelon cookies, as well as festive treats like reindeer cupcakes and snowman Oreo pops.
