ATLAS launches a new drinking menu and “enough said” is probably unanimously agreed amongst all avid tipplers. Meticulously developed by Head Bartender Jesse Vida and the ATLAS team, Sense of Place seeks to connect all guests to the architectural wonders of Art Deco through tasty tipples reflected through seven different whimsical chapters. We’ll leave the exploration of these glorious structures for your next visit but here’s what you can expect from the eclectic eye-opening menu.

Picking up on the rising non-alcoholic movement, an entire non-alcoholic menu kickstarts as the first chapter and shows no sign of any compromise to the craft. We had the Vanda Mist, a dainty looking tipple that showcases the bold flavours of Amaretto – almond liqueur – and drinks creamy and frothy. A worthy treat for both the young and conscious.

Thoughtfully designed to warm up the palate as you progress, you’d find that the strength of the cocktails level up as you work your way through the chapters. Inspired by the charming Teatro Éden in Lisbon, Portugal, the Calle Alcalá is a refreshed take on a clarified milk punch that drinks velvety smooth and luscious. The sweet harmony of berries and botanical gin results in a fruity yet balanced cocktail that is rather light to begin with. Perfect for a mid–afternoon sip if you’re working from a bar.

Next stop: Brussels, Belgium. Paying homage to the skyline view from the National Basilica Of The Sacred Heart atop Koekelberg Hill, Sunset Hill is an artfully balanced tipple that is refreshingly savoury, buttery and herbaceous with a touch of spiced smoke. Finished with a Belgian waffle topping, the mezcal based tipple reminds us of sipping on a Pale Ale, which is extremely delicious and crushable.

One possibly can’t end the night without a martini. The Vapour Guide takes a node of the blueprints of the Battersea Power Station – a historical London landmark – and turn it into a martini-esque knockout. Featuring a peach oolong-infused vodka and gin with vermouth, expect a stiff herbaceous tipple that takes no prisoners. While you’re at it, try spotting the easter egg on the menu to unveil a quirky fact about the iconic Pink Floyd.

With a reinvigorated menu, it is no doubt ATLAS continues to inspire all with modern yet opulent forms that echo progress – past to present – through art and its cocktails. Perhaps it's time to dust off your oxfords and suit up for a fancy cocktail evening with your special one.
