Say it isn't so! One of Time Out Singapore's favourite eating and drinking spots, Crackerjack, has announced that it's closing its doors come March 1. We gave Crackerjack a five-star review when it first opened earlier this year in February where it blew us away with its solid coffee, stellar cocktails and hearty American fare.
From now 'til the beginning of January, business at Crackerjack continues as normal but come early January, the main dining room only opens at night. Coffee is still available during these two months, but the restaurant's breakfast and lunch menus are discontinued.
Junior – the secret 'pocket bar' hidden within Crackerjack – remains in operation and its head bartender Peter Chua and his team are coming up with more concepts for the space throughout 2018, so at least there's that to look forward to. Following a cracking goodbye party on March 1, the main room will be re-fitted to become The Proof Collective’s Global Headquarters.
