Gardens by the Bay is crowned the third-best attraction in the world

Singapore’s futuristic, almost Avatar-like garden landmark has just landed itself a spot on the world podium. According to Tripadvisor’s 2026 Travellers’ Choice Awards: Best of the Best Things To Do, Gardens by the Bay has been ranked third globally in the “top attractions in the world” category – sitting just behind Edinburgh’s Royal Yacht Britannia and Barcelona’s endlessly photographed Basilica de la Sagrada Familia. 

The ranking is based on the quality and quantity of traveller reviews over a full year (Feb 1, 2025 to Jan 31, 2026). Gardens by the Bay outranked some of the world’s most instantly recognisable landmarks like New York’s Empire State Building, Paris's Eiffel Tower, and Hamburg’s Miniatur Wunderland.

Tripadvisor describes Gardens by the Bay as looking like a “fantasy land,” where visitors can wander through the Flower Dome, Cloud Forest and Skyway, snapping skyline shots that do most phones absolutely no favours in storage management. 

There are also rotating exhibits, sculptures, and interactive installations designed to keep both kids and adults equally distracted. Over the years, Gardens by the Bay has hosted a steady stream of large-scale exhibitions and collaborations that turn its conservatories into full-on immersive worlds, such as Pokémon-themed floral displays, Disney-inspired garden installations, and Avatar-style immersive experiences. 

Currently, its recurring on-going exhibitions include Tulipmania, which regularly reimagines Dutch art and landscapes in the Flower Dome and Jurassic World: The Experience in the Cloud Forest, where life-sized animatronic dinosaurs take over a misty jungle setting. This season, My Little Pony: Petals of Friendship at Floral Fantasy is also running from now till May 31, 2026.
