Singapore turns 60 – here’s everything happening across Bishan, Punggol, Yishun, Geylang and Bukit Gombak this National Day

Whether you catch the National Day Parade live or tune in from the comfort of your home, there’s no denying that Singapore’s birthday bash is always a spectacle – with live performances, military parades, and, of course, the grand finale: fireworks lighting up the sky.

This year’s National Day marks Singapore’s 60th anniversary of independence – a significant milestone and the heartland festivities are set to reflect that, with a bold, inclusive lineup that brings the party straight into the neighbourhoods.
The celebrations continue on August 10, 2025, with heartland festivities across the island, giving you and your loved ones another chance to join in the National Day spirit. Plus, it’s all completely free of charge (just make sure to grab your tickets early).
Organised by the People’s Association and the NDP 2025 Executive Committee, the heartland celebrations will take place at five locations, each representing a different district and theme:
Each venue will feature its own mix of live performances, community activities, and fireworks, with plenty of family-friendly fun for all ages, from interactive exhibits to art installations and even a skating experience.
All five venues will open from 4pm to 9pm on August 10, 2025.
Yes! Admission is free, but tickets are required. You can collect yours at your nearest Community Club on a first-come, first-served basis. Each person may collect up to two tickets, and collection is already open. Ticket-holders will also receive complimentary NDP packs at the celebration sites.

From August 8 to 10, Our Tampines Hub will be pulsing with community pride, live music, cultural shows, bumper car rides, and more. Don’t miss the SG60 National Day Concert on August 9, featuring homegrown greats like Louis Soliano, Hady Mirza, Shabir, and Jasmine Sokko, or catch the live screening of the NDP at Festive Plaza.
