The 10 busiest SQ journeys of the year include a mix of short, medium and long-haul flights

As Asia’s best airline – second-best in the world – Singapore Airlines is undoubtedly a go-to choice for jetsetters. With flights often fully packed these days, you’d be lottery-level lucky if you even got an empty seat next to you – and we just found out just which ones are fuelling that frenzy with the reveal of SIA’s busiest flights of 2025.
There seems to be a higher demand for short flights around the region, with the 1-hour 45-minute Singapore-Jakarta route being the busiest of all with a total of nine daily trips and over 17,000 seats each week. Also in the top 10 list are routes between Singapore and Bali, Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur, and Manila – popular holiday destinations that are all less than four hours away.
On the medium-haul front, SQ’s busiest flights are between Singapore and destinations like Shanghai, Hong Kong, and the Australian cities of Melbourne and Sydney. The trip from London’s Heathrow Airport is the only long-haul one on the list, though our national carrier also makes landings in the city’s other international airport, Gatwick Airport, in a daily route that was quite recently introduced.
P.S.: Did you know that the world’s longest non-stop flight which spans a 19-hour duration is operated by Singapore Airlines?
