As they say, the fun never stops on Sentosa Island. This year, explore a new side to the island with the SentoSights series of sustainability- and heritage-themed tours to mark the island’s 50th birthday.

Comprising of more than 10 unique guided tours in partnership with Monster Tours and other travel partners, this series will bring you on a journey through gems both familiar and hidden, including Fort Siloso, Fort Serapong, Tanjong Rimau and the Imbiah and Coastal Trails.

Expect fun elements such as game-based exploration, magic demonstrations and night-time forest walks. Put your thinking hats on for a puzzle hunt through Fort Siloso, be bedazzled on a 'magic' tour through lesser-known sites on the island, or test your observational skills as you learn all about bird species on an introductory birdwatching tour.

Categorised along Island Nature, Island Heritage and Island Play to showcase the many facets of Sentosa, these tours will be progressively rolled out at sentosa.com.sg/SentoSights.

Offerings and activities

There’s a lot more in store at the Island of Fun to mark its Golden Jubilee.

To give back to seniors, the island will also be dishing out some special perks. From January 21, Singaporeans and PRs aged 60 and above will enjoy exclusive discounts and deals in Sentosa on weekdays. Present a valid photo ID or Passion Silver Concession card to get cable car rides for just $5, one-for-one admission to Madam Tussauds Singapore, and many more.

Stories of Discovery will also be launched on February 7 to collect heart-warming photos and memories of Sentosa from guests. 10 of the best entries will be included in a special celebration video, and up for grabs is a curated Sentosa experience package, which includes an attractive 3D2N staycation.

More Golden Jubilee celebrations to look forward to

Later in 2022, join the birthday bash at two Golden Jubilee festivals, which will bring activities and offerings centred on food and wellness. A Sentosa Golden Jubilee Charity Golf event will also be run in support of President’s Challenge and Community Chest.

If you’re keen to acquire commemorative gifts and branded goods, then keep your eyes peeled for a Commemorative Golden Jubilee e-book which will bring together Sentosa stories from various well-known personalities; as well as Sentosa beers and ice creams crafted in collaboration with homegrown brands Brewerkz and Udders.

And finally – make space in your Sentosa itinerary for more new attractions. The newly-launched SkyHelix Sentosa, Southside, and Oasia Resort Sentosa will be joined by Singapore’s first villa-only hotel Raffles Sentosa Resort & Spa, and perfume concept store Scentopia.
