Singapore is already home to the world’s best bar, but don’t put your glass down just yet – Offtrack has just given us another reason to raise it.
The North Canal Road bar, founded by the people behind local music collectives Darker Than Wax and Ice Cream Sundays, has made its debut on The World’s 50 Best Bars 2026 51-100 list, coming in at 89th place.
This achievement is another notch in Offtrack’s growing bar resume. The bar previously came in 23rd on Asia’s 50 Best Bars 2025, and now makes its global debut on the 51-100 list. It is one of 16 Asian bars and the only Singapore bar featured on this year’s extended ranking.
Offtrack’s recognition is well deserved. Since opening in 2022, the 34 North Canal Road spot has built its identity around the idea that music should be at the heart of the experience. Its acoustically treated space is centred around a carefully assembled sound system, with local and regional DJs and record collectors taking turns behind the decks. The music spans everything from jazz and soul to funk and Asian cuts, with vinyl displays and rotating art adorning the space.
This is coupled with a delicious Asian-inspired menu, featuring housemade sourdough roti with kombu butter and chives,spice-rubbed Iberico pork collar drenched in fennel gravy, and the crowd-favourite garlicky la mian. The cocktails range from a chilli-spiked Paloma to the punchy King Cole, a bourbon, Fernet Branca and Demerara concoction.
This ranking is part of The 50 Best Bars, an annual list of the world’s best drinking venues, voted for by an Academy of more than 800 experts worldwide. First published in 2009, the ranking has become a major fixture in the global drinks industry, with regional editions including The 50 Best Bars Asia, published since 2016.
