Singapore's cocktail scene has another reason to raise a glass. Homegrown bar Fura has just been crowned World's Best Bar at the 2026 Spirited Awards, held during the annual Tales of the Cocktail festival in New Orleans. As if that wasn't enough of a mic drop, it also snagged Best International Restaurant Bar, making it one of the biggest winners of the night.
Taking home the top title at the Spirited Award is about as big as it gets. If you haven't heard of the Spirited Awards before, they are one of the industry's highest honours. Often regarded as the bar world's equivalent of the Oscars, the annual awards recognise the very best in cocktails and hospitality – from bars and bartenders to cocktail journalism.
