Here are some of the biggest restaurant openings happening this year that you definitely wouldn't wanna miss.

Lavo

Swanky New York nightclub, Lavo, is set to open its doors over the coming days. Brought to you by the people behind Tao Group, the Italian restaurant cum rooftop bar cum swish party venue is perched on the 57th floor of Tower 1 of Marina Bay Sands so expect dinner and dancing with a killer view.

Opening January 8.

Caffe Fernet

If you’re a fan of the Jigger & Pony Group, which has brought us the likes of Sugarhall and Gibson, then get excited. The group plans to launch Caffe Fernet – its biggest venture yet – sometime in February. The concept focuses on all things Italian from the food that leans towards bright and fresh flavours to classic cocktails like spritzers and negronis.

Opening in February.

Tablescape

Grand Park City Hall gets a new modern European restaurant in the form of Tablescape this month. Accented with Peranakan tiles and pastel hues, the airy space is elegant and welcoming, much like its food. Mains include Maine lobster and risotto in Armagnac bisque.
