Ye's only Southeast Asia concert is a two-hour flight from Singapore – here's all you need to know

If you've spent the last two decades arguing over whether Graduation or My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy is Ye's greatest album, here's your chance to settle the debate in person. The rapper, producer and fashion provocateur better known as Kanye West is bringing his colossal live show to Jakarta, Indonesia this October – and it's his only Southeast Asian stop on the 2026 Ye Live Concert Tour. Less than a two-hour flight from Singapore, it’s one of the easiest overseas concert pilgrimages you'll make all year.

The concert also marks the closest Ye has come to returning to Singapore in over 15 years. He last performed here at SingFest in 2010, following his first Singapore concert at the Singapore Indoor Stadium in 2008.

Love him or loathe him, there's no denying Ye's influence on modern music. Across more than 20 years, he's redefined hip hop with era-defining albums, boundary-pushing production and a knack for turning every release into a cultural event. His concerts are no different. Forget a rapper pacing across a runway stage – Ye's recent performances have become immersive spectacles built around his signature Globe Stage, placing fans in a 360-degree experience where music, visuals and storytelling come together.

Fresh off the success of his twelfth studio album Bully, which debuted at number one on Billboard’s Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart, Ye is bringing that same ambitious production to Jakarta's Gelora Bung Karno Main Stadium, where up to 77,000 fans are expected to gather for one of Southeast Asia's biggest concert weekends of the year. 

When is Ye performing in Jakarta? 

Circle Saturday, October 24, 2026 on your calendar. The one-night-only concert marks Ye's only confirmed Southeast Asian performance this year, so if you've been waiting for him to come closer to home, this is as close as it gets.

Where is Ye performing in Jakarta? 

The show takes place at Gelora Bung Karno (GBK) Main Stadium, Indonesia's largest stadium and one of the region's premier concert venues. With a capacity of over 77,000, it's the perfect canvas for Ye's Globe Stage, a massive circular production designed to immerse audiences from every angle rather than separate the artist from the crowd.

Getting there from Singapore 

Unlike flying halfway across the world for a stadium tour, this concert is practically in your backyard. Direct flights from Singapore to Jakarta take under two hours, with multiple daily departures from Changi Airport. Singapore passport holders also don't need a visa for short visits to Indonesia, making this an easy weekend escape. 

Once you land at Soekarno-Hatta International Airport, getting to the venue is straightforward. Take the Airport Rail Link and connect to Jakarta MRT, which brings you to Senayan station near GBK in under 45 minutes, or simply book a Grab or Gojek if you're travelling with friends. 

If you're making a weekend of it, official ticket-and-hotel bundles are available at nearby hotels including Fairmont Jakarta, Hotel Mulia Jakarta and ARTOTEL Gelora Senayan.

What songs will Ye perform? 

Based on his recent shows, expect material from his latest album Bully like ‘OK’ and ‘Father’, alongside career-defining hits that span his catalogue. Whether you're hoping for early favourites like ‘Jesus Walks,’ ‘Gold Digger’ and ‘All of the Lights’ or later anthems such as ‘Follow God’ and ‘Carnival’, don't be surprised if the set evolves right up to show day.

How to get tickets 

General ticket sales begin on Wednesday, July 29 at 11am (10am WIB) via the official concert website. Entry-tier tickets start from approximately $155 (IDR 1,875,000), while VIP, Super Fans Festival and premium hospitality options are also available. Ticket-and-hotel packages start from approximately $898 (IDR 12,500,000) and are available while stocks last.
