For an affordable indulgence, The Feather Blade offers 200g of juicy grilled beef that’s priced at just $28. It comes served atop a bed of fluffy garlic mashed potato and finished with Sichuan peppercorn sauce. Its affordable menu means you can, and should, add on sides of creamed spinach ($8.50), corn ($9), and smashed potatoes deep-fried in beef fat ($10). The modern chophouse offers a few sharing platters that are good for two, including a surf and turf option ($158.36), featuring smoke-kissed wagyu striploin and well-seasoned Boston lobster; or a meat lover's dream of a platter ($147.66) stuffed with Black Angus bone-in, wagyu rump cap, braised short rib, and gourmet sausages. Throw in some sides of truffle fries ($10.70) and garlic mashed potato ($6.42) for sheer indulgence.

Picanhas' prides itself in providing simple steaks done well. The cut in question, of course, refers to the eponymous picanhaa cut of beef from the rump cap muscle first popularised in Brazil. Its signature The Queen of Steak ($25) dishes up a sizeable 200g slab of juicy steak drizzled with charcoal butter, which you can choose to jazz up with sides of congee or mashed potato. The Picanha Don ($16) comes with steak slices, caramelised onions, fried garlic bits, pickled red cabbage, and an onsen egg.

With a name that means steak in Italian, it comes as no surprise that this restaurant specialises in all manners of beef. Here, the meat is prepped the traditional Tuscan way – whole, bone-in hunks charred over a wood-fired grill. Get its signature sharing dish, the massive 1.1kg Fiorentina ($195) made with grass-fed T-bone, or treat yourself to single-servings of tenderloin ($58) or ribeye ($76). Throw in sides of creamed spinach ($12), steak fries ($10) dressed in sea salt and herbs, or wild mushrooms ($17), or get a bottle of wine if you’re feeling fancy.

The steaks from L'Entrecote are usually accompanied with unlimited serving of crispy fries. You won’t get all-you-can-eat sides with the steakhouse’s delivery menu, but it’s probably for the better. The hearty French Bistro Fare ($138 for two, $250 for four) starts off with foie gras terrine and Pâté de Campagne, before moving on to the famed slab of steak with its secret sauce. Of course, you’ll find fries on the sides, together with some mixed greens before ending the meal with some dark chocolate mousse.
