Here, the meat is prepped the traditional Tuscan way – whole, bone-in hunks charred over a wood-fired grill. Get its signature sharing dish, the massive 1.1kg Fiorentina ($175) made with grass-fed T-bone, or treat yourself to single-servings of wagyu striploin ($84), tenderloin ($58), or the ribeye ($66). Throw in sides of creamed spinach ($12), steak fries ($9) dressed in sea salt and herbs, or wild mushrooms ($16), or get a bottle of wine if you’re feeling fancy.

For an affordable indulgence, The Feather Blade offers 200g of juicy grilled beef that’s priced at just $25. It comes served atop a bed of fluffy garlic mashed potato and finished with Sichuan peppercorn sauce. Its affordable menu means you can, and should, add on sides ($7) of creamed spinach, sautéed mushrooms, smashed potatoes deep-fried in beef fat, and salad. And if its variety you’re after, there’s also the equally affordable gyudon ($14), burger ($21), and bratwurst ($21), along with bottled cocktails from Native to wash everything down.

The hearty French Bistro Fare ($80 for two, $150 for four) starts off with a cheese platter that features camembert, Sainte-Maure, and comté served alongside walnuts, dried apricots, and baguette, before moving on to the famed slab of steak with its secret sauce. Of course, you’ll find fries on the sides, together with some mixed greens before ending the meal with not one, but two desserts – a dark chocolate mousse and caramelised apple tart with sour cream. There’s even the option to enjoy a bottle of house wine for just $38.

You’ll find a tantalising selection of meats cooked over its wood-fired grill at Skirt – from tender Iberico pork tomahawk ($46) to local grilled seabass ($34).
