This group show at Stills Gallery skewers the commercialised notion of 'freshness' and the contemporary culture around self-improvement. Far from being an organic state, 'fresh' is these days tied to mostly artificial situations, states and products.
Curated by UK-born Sydney-based artist and curator Josephine Skinner, Ever Fresh presents video, installation, sculpture and photographic work by the following artists: Sydneysiders Tully Arnot, Emily Parsons-Lord and Marilyn Schneider; and international artists Kristin Cammermeyer (USA), Adham Faramawy (UK) and Kawita Vatanajyankur (Thailand).
