Mulga is one of the most renowned of all Australian street artists with an impressive, decade-long career creating colourful, jungle-inspired murals, books, prints, clothing and other products. From the very first Mulga mural, painted on the Bondi Beach Sea Wall, Mulga's gorilla characters have had an instrinsic place in his art.

Now he has launched Mulga Kongz NFTs (non-fungible tokens), which allow collectors to own a unique digital artwork by Mulga. To launch the NFTs he has partnered with MidCity Shopping Centre in the heart of Pitt Street Mall, bringing Kongz Island out of the digital realm and into real life.

The murals occupy 120m2 of wall space at MidCity, helping drive footfall and bringing art lovers, tech-heads and shoppers alike into the mall. "We’re super pumped to bring the summer party Kongz vibes to Sydney’s CBD,” says Mulga. "We are excited to partner with Mulga and bring his collection of Kongz to life in MidCity Shopping Centre," says Sam Sproats, CEO of Fortius Funds Management.

Check out Kongz Island now at MidCity Shopping Centre, 197 Pitt St, Sydney 2000.
