Time Out says

To mark International Women's Day, Gallery Lane Cove has programmed this all-female exhibition exploring women's identity in the current cultural moment. It brings together five artists working across a variety of media: Eleanor Amiradaki, Tamara Pavlovic, Zorica Purlija, Karen Riethmuller and Patrice Wills. Through painting, photography, printmaking, installation and video, these artists explore themes of motherhood, female relationships, and women's bodies as contested territory.

The exhibition kicks off with an opening night soiree from 6-8pm on March 4, featuring an opening address from Stanley Street Gallery director Liza Feeney. There will also be a special International Women's Day event on March 7 from 11am-noon. Artists Tamara Pavlovic and Zorica Purlija will read poetry by female writers, and then take part in a round table discussion with gallery curator Rachael Kiang on the topic of "Women, Nature and Agency" which is sure to be a juicy conversation.
