This non-profit organisation was founded in 2003 by Jo Holder and is run by a group of independent curators; CAP moved to the current Llankelly Place space in 2009. They describe their purview as "contemporary work that reflects the multiple relationships between art and life, art and the public sphere and explores the boundaries of this context." Besides exhibitions, they hold talks, walks and other events – and besides art, their interests extend to urban planning, architecture and heritage.
