A publishing icon celebrates a milestone with this glamorous portrait exhibition

The National Portrait Gallery often stands in the shadow of the flashier National Gallery of Australia, but this summer it has a blockbuster exhibition all of its own. Celebrating 60 years of Vogue Australia, Women in Vogue brings together iconic portraits of the Australian women who have featured in the magazine’s pages over the years, including Kylie Minogue, Cate Blanchett and Elle McPherson, while celebrating the role the magazine has played in the lives of Australian women over two generations. Featured alongside the portraits will be rare examples of the magazine dating from its early decades to today. Tickets are $12 for adults and $10 for students (cheaper if purchased online) and available from portrait.gov.au.
