Residents, working folk and visitors to Glebe, Forest Lodge and Annandale can now roam around a fresh green space, right next to the popular Tramsheds food precinct and community centre. A well-equipped public park has been included in the new Harold Park residential development, offering a children’s playground, shaded barbecues, tables and walking and cycling tracks connecting the neighbourhood to the Glebe foreshore parks.
The 3.8 hectare space was once private land, but now offers the public a pristine spot to picnic, take the kids out or simply enjoy the native gardens and modern facilities.
