It seems that Sydney can't get enough of rooftop bars (not that we're complaining!) – and the latest is a new open air bar from the folks at artist-run space 107 Projects. This month, this creative hub in Redfern will transform its rooftop (which is usually used as a permaculture garden) into a sun-soaked drinking spot, featuring live music, DJs, cocktails and cold beer.
And here's the best part: to celebrate the bar's opening, 107 is hosting three massive parties over one big weekend. Each has a different vibe, but all of them are free entry, with espresso Martinis and dumplings served all weekend. And have you ever heard of a Gaffagato? That's a shot of espresso poured over a Golden Gaytime. YUM.
Across the three days you'll hear from the likes of Sydney-based label Free the Beats and the Bare Necessities crew, who are purveyors of African, Latin American and tropical beats.
