Time Out says

The Golden Sheaf’s sun-drenched courtyard has become a spring garden with floral blooms, Bombay cocktails and acoustic tunes throughout November

The courtyard at the Golden Sheaf in Double Bay is one of Sydney's legendary pub playgrounds, and as the days get longer and we head into the holiday season the place has something a little bit special to offer.

It's variations on the theme of spring, titled Bombay in Bloom. The courtyard has been transformed into a lush spring garden, with flowers, gin cocktails bursting with seasonal ingredients, and acoustic live music.

The Sheaf's bespoke Bombay Sapphire gin cocktails aim to stir the senses with creative but classic combinations. Think the Bramble Spritz – a refreshing mix of Bombay Bramble Gin, elderflower, lemon and grapefruit ($22). Or the English Garden – combining Bombay Citron, elderflower, cloudy apple, lime and cucumber ($22). Love the bubbles? A Bombay Premier Cru French 75 brings together Bombay Premier Cru, lemon and prosecco ($22) for a drink that's a celebration in a glass.

Be sure to make the most of the Sheaf's Sunset Happy Hours, Monday-Friday 4-6pm, when every cocktail on the list is just $15. And if you love a Sunday sesh then those acoustic tunes are in the garden from 1-4pm every Sunday.
