The distilled essence of the agave plant takes over the heart of King Street as the Bank’s Beer Garden transforms into Burning Heart Tequileria for the summer.
They are serving up cocktails made with Espolòn Tequila, by the glass or the jug, Wednesdays to Sundays through till February 17. Treat yourself to a classic Margarita or Paloma, or try the Bank’s signature Pineapple Tequila Sour. You can also try the Bank’s tequila-based spins on classics that don't usually involve tequila, like the Cancuna Colada and the Bloody Maria.
With the weather turning equatorial, the good news is that there are Frozen Margaritas and Frozen Palomas available throughout Burning Hearts’ tenure in the Beer Garden. And there are Mexican eats to go with them. Bank Head Chef Juan Costa has prepared a coterie of spicy tostadas for your snacking pleasure. Choose between beef, chicken and cauliflower options that go perfectly with any of the Espolòn tequila drinks.
Tequila el Espolòn is made at the San Nicholas Distillery in the Los Altos region of Jalisco State, central west Mexico. Espolòn gets its name from the spur on a rooster’s leg, and celebrates Mexico’s fighting spirit.
To get in on the Burning Heart Tequileria you’ll need to book a table. ¡Arriba!
