This artist-curated space houses a main music stage marked by a baby grand piano that hosts just about every genre of music you can think of – big band, jazz, funk, gospel, reggae, blues, country, soul, Latin and classical.
Camelot has been known to host intimate gigs with artists including singer-songwriters like Katie Noonan and Archie Roach, and local rockers like the Black Sorrows, Mental As Anything, Dragon and Tex Perkins. The venue is also host to a popular weekly life drawing night.
With its friendly vibe and funky décor featuring literally hundreds of camels, this well-established boutique venue is well regarded in the local music scene. Downstairs through the big red door, Django @ Camelot is a slightly smaller venue where the lounge room ambience is more concentrated.
