Time Out says

There's nanna-chic in spades at this cute Darlinghurst bar

The world is your oyster at Darlie Laundromatic. You might order an ice-cream sandwich and don a beehive while playing Rock’n’Roll Bingo (every Tuesday, 6–10pm). Or you might just nab a spot at the communal table out front with a Sapporo and a mini chilli dog (yep, add Darlie Laundromatic to list of bars serving hot dogs). And there are regular tune nights by some of Sydney's best Sydney DJs, to boot.

The new small bar is set in that weird old Darlinghurst Laundromat on the top of Palmer Street. These days, under new ownership and more than a few licks of paint, you can expect a house-made sour apple cordial with vodka and soda, or a tinny of Tsing Tao beer.

The shiny new Darlie is cute spot just around the corner from rootin’, tootin’ Shady Pines Saloon. Aqua walls are lined with old 70s hunting scenes and horse portraits. Tea towels hang from a makeshift clothesline out the back, bingo balls sit in an old bucket on the floor, and there’s a world of nanna bric-a-brac besides. Get your cute on for a quick tipple before tea.
