This weekend the DOG Hotel will be pulling out all the stops to host an American-themed party to mark Independence Day. There will be loads of USA craft beers on offer, buckets of Bud, $10 Espresso Martinis, live music (launching this weekend) and plenty of midwest inspired food specials.
Load up on a plate of buttermilk fried chicken with roasted corn, chimichurri, melted cheddar and potato salad for $24, or try a spiced hanger steak po’ boy sandwich with 'slaw, tomato, chilli, coriander and lime dressing for only $12.50.
The evening will see the guys from Glory Days Duo dishing out Bruce Springsteen covers and other Americana rock hits from 9pm. Also make sure you dress up in red, white and blue or your best American-inspired ensemble because there are prizes for best dressed.
