The hospitality juggernaut that is Merivale have locked down three consecutive shop fronts along Oxford Street, and below the new restaurant Fred's is going to be a tapas and cocktail bar. The cocktails will have a strong seasonal focus to their flavour profiles and the vibe will borrow little prohibition inspiration from sister venue, Palmer and Co.
It's felt like we've seen far more closures than openings along this once buzzy strip, so it's good news all round that the area is set to get an injection of new energy from the high profile openings at numbers 380, 382 and 384 in early 2016.
