One of the old pubs facing the east side of Central Station has had a colourful Californian makeover with the American beers and a dessert they're calling the beaver tail, a flat doughnut rolled in cinnamon sugar and spread with whatever takes their fancy, be it caramel sauce and crushed Oreos or Nutella and crushed honeycomb.
