Here’s some absolutely fabulous news. None other than Jennifer Saunders and Joanna Lumley will be tottering down the red carpet for the Sydney and Melbourne premieres of the long-awaited Ab Fab movie.
The film reunites the full original cast including Julia Sawalha (Saffy), June Whitflied (Mother) and Jane Horrocks (Bubble). There’s also a long list of celebrity cameos, not least Kate Moss, whose unfortunate encounter with Edina drives the film’s plot.
The Sydney premiere is at the State Theatre on Sunday July 31 while the Melbourne event is on Tuesday August 2 at Village Crown. Be early to stake out your place by the red carpet and don’t forget the Bolly.
The film releases nationally on Thursday August 4.
