The UK producer plays live while recording his globally loved podcast for the first time in Australia

[Sponsored] British electronic musician and composer Chicane will be bringing his deep cuts to Café Del Mar's sunny rooftop terrace for this ultimate day-to-night party. Chicane (aka Nicholas Bracegirdle) is a prominent dance music producer, with his uplifting, atmospheric electronic tracks taking over the underground and rising up through the charts in the late '90s and early '00s. His balearic trance and house hits include 'Saltwater', 'Offshore' and most notably 'Don't Give Up' (you'll probably remember Bryan Adams' heavily synthesized guest vocals on the catchy trance pop track).

On the day he will also be bringing something a little different to Café del Mar – he will be live recording his own podcast Sun Sets, straight from the rooftop. The podcast has garnered music fans right across the world, with Chicane producing more than 176 volumes since he started it back in 2013. The podcast showcases tracks that go straight from the beach to the dancefloor, and also unveils new artists and floorfillers from all sorts of genres showing his diverse knowledge of music. Chicane will be joined by a line up of local DJs, plus an encore by UK DJ Joey Negro (after his sold out NYE gig) who will keep the party pumping into the evening.
