As part of the shimmery lights, big ideas and exciting line-up of gigs and parties being held during Vivid, the Kings Cross Hotel will present another killer music program, and it’s free to be part of the party. They’ve got DJs, electronic music makers, R’n’B and hip-hop artists coming in to raise the roof across three consecutive Saturday nights.
On May 25, Aussie DJ, radio host and music producer Nina Las Vegas will be leading a troupe of three other female artists taking Sydney by storm: Isa, Meshell Webb and Caitlin Medcalf. The following Saturday you’ll be partying with a crew curated by party starters Clipp.Art. Heading the bill is UK house music duo FYI Chris, alongside local house and hip-hop favourites Jerk Boy, Sophie Forest and Pinz and Pelz.
The final weekend will feature a collaboration between Heaps Decent and Shantan Wantan Ichiban. The pair will each take over one of the seven levels of music at the venue, and dish out sounds by local artists in the worlds of dancehall, R’n’B, hip hop and Afrobeat.
