If you've never watched Netflix's addictive baking-gone-wrong competition show Nailed It!, then you may not be familiar with Nicole Byer. If you have seen it? Then you probably already love her.
The always affable host is a breath of fresh air on the comedy scene, and has appeared on Brooklyn Nine-Nine, RuPaul's Drag Race, 30 Rock, Transparent and The Good Place. She also hosts several popular podcasts, but is arguably at her best performing stand-up.
Lucky for us, Byer will be making her Australian debut in 2020 with a stand-up tour, with two nights in Sydney on Friday May 1 (at the Comedy Store) and Saturday May 2 (the Factory Theatre). If you've seen her special on Netflix's Comedians of the World, you'll have some idea of what to expect from the straight-shooting comedian's set; fearless, funny and maybe just a little bit fucked up.
Tickets for both Byer's shows are on sale Thursday November 28.
