Time Out says

They’ve been there for us for a quarter century, and it’s time to celebrate the TV gem that is Friends at this anniversary screening

If it hasn’t been your day, your week, your month or even your year since Friends aired its final episode in 2004, then you’ll want to jump in your impossibly parked red sports car and head to a Hoyts Cinema this weekend. Cinema’s across the country will be doing a special 25th anniversary screening of a select few Friends episodes plus never-before-seen interview and behind-the-scenes footage of your six favourite New Yorkers.

If you want to revisit that impossibly gorgeous rent-controlled apartment, you’re in luck, because they’re airing 12 episodes that have been dazzlingly remastered for the silver screen. It’s starting at day dot with The One Where Monica Gets a Roommate and moving across the years to other faves like The One with the Embryos (aka the beginning of Phoebe’s brother’s triplets), The One Where Everyone Finds Out (about a certain inter-friends relationship), and The One with Ross's Wedding Part 2 (Rachel!).

You’ll be watching these beauties and the juicy extras on the big screen, getting all nostalgic in your comfy Hoyts armchairs, for approximately five-and-a-half hours for $25 (and just $20 for Hoyts Rewards Members). The Friends-athon kicks off around the country at Hoyts Cinemas from 12.30pm on Sunday October 27.
