Time Out is teaming up with our friends at Golden Age Cinema & Bar this month for a very special screening of the Coen Brothers' 1984 debut Blood Simple on Wednesday November 16.
In a seedy part of Texas a bar owner (Dan Hedaya) hires a private detective (M Emmet Walsh) to spy on his wife (Frances McDormand), whom he suspects is having an affair with bartender Ray (John Getz). Things quickly spiral out of control.
This cult classic ranks among the best work by the makers of Fargo and No Country for Old Men.
If you'd like to win a double pass to the screening, simply sign up to the Time Out Newsletter (your ultimate social planner) before 10am, November 7. Already a subscriber? You are doubly awesome. You can still enter the competition (and we won't send you multiple newsletters).
