Vote Yes Community Barbecue

The City of Sydney is set to host the free ‘Vote Yes’ community event and barbecue as a way of supporting same-sex marriage, and ultimately promoting equality, resilience and diversity. Inner city residents are encouraged to bring family and friends – both the human and the furry kind – to the event at Harmony Park in Surry Hills. There’ll be entertainment from local musicians, and kids’ activities plus organisations such as the Australian Marriage Equality, Rainbow Families and Twenty10 all with the same goal of strengthening the bonds of the LGBTQIA community.
