When Sydney Olympic Park is busy, it’s busy. It’s no fun navigating thick crowds, standstills in the stadium carpark and booked-out restaurants. Never fear, we’ve got the round-up on how to squeeze the most out of your time in this bustling precinct by finding the best eateries, parking tips, accommodation and concert hacks that Accor has to offer. With the Pullman, Novotel, Ibis and all of their respective restaurants in such close range, you’ll be spoilt for choice.

A stay the Sydney Olympic Park's Accor precinct isn't just a place to rest your head for the night of your event: it's a whole experience in itself. We're counting down all the ways you can eat, stay and play around Accor Stadium, Qudos Bank Arena and Engine Stadium, from starting the concert high early with pre-parties at the area's bars, to beating the gridlock of people travelling to and from your event.

This five-star accommodation is your one-stop shop for a lavish experience at Sydney Olympic Park. The Pullman has its own restaurant (more on that later), gym and valet parking for a seamless experience. Why not book an Executive Room which gives you access to the executive lounge serving up evening canapés and beverages so you can settle in before your big event. The executive suites and executive rooms give you access to the lounge (and a very lavish sleeping space), but the other rooms will also put you in a fabulous location, just a stone’s throw from all of Sydney Olympic Park’s stadiums.

You’ve forked out on tickets for the big concert, dressed up and driven all this way… Why not splurge on a gourmet dinner? Award-winning executive chef Marvin Ma is dishing up a luxe menu premium kingfish and wagyu. This contemporary fine-diner offers two- and three-course menus, and if you’re an Accor member, you’ll score a discount. Bookings are essential so plan in advance. We reckon it’s the best place for a feed and to get you in the mood before a killer concert (we’re looking at you AC/DC, Lady Gaga, Metallica, Teddy Swims, Oasis, Keith Urban and James Blunt).

Whether it's schmoozing at corporate meetings or starting your night off strong, Boulevard Brasserie and Bar’s exclusive balcony with great views and Instagrammable meals and cocktails are a great way to go. Order a glass of wine and explore the ever-evolving menu, plus check out the two- and three-course set menus for events. If you want to keep things more cas, Brewery Bar + Kitchen on the lower ground of the Novotel is your spot. Think great pub classics to fuel a big night out (or a pre-game psych up). This is where the pre-event festivities kick off with DJs spinning tracks of your favourite artist right before the concert starts. Make friends with the fired-up crowd and then regroup with them here after the show to hash out all the best moments.

The only thing worse than the endless “are we there yet?” is when the kids crash out before their highly anticipated show is even over. Save yourself the hassle of carting them to the car or dealing with public transport back home by taking a short stroll back to the Novotel. Upon arrival, the kids will receive a welcome gift, they can enjoy free breakfast, and you'll receive 50 per cent off your second room. The little ones can also let off steam at the Novotel’s kids' zone. As a bonus, all members receive an extra five per cent off the room rate. Settle in and build some more memories together.
