The winner (and their guests) will receive Champagne on arrival as they roll up for a one-night stay in the Langham’s most opulent room, the Observatory Suite – a double drawing room with a stately fireplace and views of Observatory Hill and the Sydney skyline – as well as ten additional luxury rooms for their family and friends. Your ultimate fantasy slumber party also includes a special VIP area in Observatory Bar with two hours of canapés with customised cocktails; a private à la carte dinner for all guests, hosted by executive chef, Stephen Lech; complimentary mini-bar; and breakfast for all (sounds like a round of Beroccas will be in order after all that booze too). But that’s not all, each guest will also receive use of the in-house day spa, The Day Spa by Chuan. The spa package includes a one-hour relaxation massage and use of the legendary star-lit pool (and also the gym and tennis courts, if you’re inclined to break up the day drinking and evening drinking with a cardio sesh).
Anyone who books in for one of the Langham’s three staycation packages is eligible to win this profoundly over-the-top prize. These include the Jubilation Package ($568) which includes one night’s accommodation in a Deluxe City King Bedroom Suite, breakfast for two served in your room and access to the the day spa and coveted swimming pool; the Couples’ Reconnection Package ($748) which adds dinner for two and a complimentary bottle of Laurent Perrier Champagne; and the Revival Remedy Package ($998) which also includes a one-hour aromatherapy massage treatment at the Day Spa by Chaun and $100 credit at the Observatory Bar.
Upon check-out, each guest will be asked to submit their “#LovingLangham” story in a two-part writing competition to be answered in 300 words or less. After an evening of luxury at one of the city’s most sought after hotels, the words should come rather easily. But hey, if you have writers’ block, a massage in the day spa might give you some space to meditate on it.
