'Asyik' is the Indonesian word for 'fun', which is exactly what this kids festival is bringing to Sydney. Presented by Sydney-based Indonesian dance group Suara Indonesia Dance, expect a day filled with culture at this family-friendly event, including traditional Indonesian dance, art and food.
Entry is free, but if you want to sign your little cutie up to the Indonesian fashion show it’s $20. There’ll be prizes up for grabs for the best costume and the Little Miss and Little Mr Indonesia competitions. These will be open to all children aged 4-12. After the show, you can try traditional Indonesian cuisine, learn more about the traditional customs of Indonesia and let your kiddies dance freely at the disco.
